Lakeside on Chautauqua Lake and Living is Easy
This newly-updated vintage cottage is a short 1/2 mile walk or bike to the Village of Bemus Point, New York with it’s coffee shop, park, restaurants, market shops, and floating stage. Long Point State Park, the Chautauqua Institute, Midway Amusement Park, shopping in Lakewood and historic Jamestown are all within a 10 mile radius. Easy access to Presque Isle & Lake Erie, Buffalo-Niagara Falls, and the Finger Lakes. Local farm stands, Wegman’s and fresh eggs are nearby.
The interior features mid-century modern styling and the open plan looks out to a large deck with built-in seating and lake views. Healthy living is a focus here at our cottage, read about it in our next post.
There is a private dock for fishing, boating or tying up your kayak and a pedal boat is available to guests. The public boat launch is nearby. A firepit is at water’s edge for late night sing-alongs and marshmallows or just sit, relax and enjoy the ducks, ripples and greenery. BBQ grill. Snowmobile trails and ice fishing from your doorstep and skiing nearby in Clymer in the winter.
